Company History and Mission

Our company was founded by Marvin Johnson in 1969 and was incorporated in 1971.  We have grown to over $70,000,000 in truck insurance and truck-related business with 60 employees in our Columbus, Indiana office and 3 employees in our Barberton, Ohio office. Our clients are distributed over 25 states with the primary concentration in the states of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Illinois.

• Our employees are highly experienced in the transportation field.  We know that no other agency has more experienced people than we do in the trucking business with over 300 years of combined experience.

• Applied for self-insurance work comp insurance in Indiana for truckers

• Worked as a consultant with Cummins Engine to form insurance company in the ‘80s

• We have a number of individuals to draw upon in our agency. Some of which have specialties such as safety, loss control, and computer communication. Others have many years of multidiscipline experience and contacts to solve problems for our customers. We have designed our team to best utilize the strength of the agency resources.
• We will expect to spend time with your risk management team to understand your current needs and service issues, as well as those you would like to see implemented in the future.
• We will then lay out service standards for each area of concern, in order to assure that quality of service is at or above your expectations.

Risk Management Services

• Safety and loss control services are described in detail later and are one of our strongest areas of expertise.
• Our services are deployed as requested. Our loss control representatives are prepared to work with your staff to establish a program for hands-on training.
• With our measuring tools for trending of losses, we will benchmark against prior years for frequency and severity of losses and look for opportunities to train drivers and managers to control these issues.
